Obituary

I mourn the passing of Mrs. Bharati D.G. of Sidlaghatta, mother of my friend Malli (of Malli's Own Potpourri). She is the smiling housewife in our section on Indian Kitchens. I am told that she was very happy to see her picture online. Malli is like a brother to me. So this is a personal loss. The fresh tamarind pickles (called Tokku) that Bharati sent us will taste even better now, and will remind me of her. (Comments Disabled for Now. Sorry!)
