I recall from the 1980s, a racial incident during a Cricket match in Australia involving Mohinder Amarnath and a Sri Lankan umpire. First this Aussie called the two as Blacks, and suggested they were conspiring together. The referee in the game of Cricket has no disciplinary powers, but I will always remember what Mohinder said then --"It is too bad you mother did not teach you that."
It is a generation since, and it is too bad Lleyton Hewitt's mother did not teach her son either. I couldn't believe what I saw on television during 2001 US Open -- this guy (also from Australia) suggesting that a black linesman making calls in favor of James Blake (who is black).
Yahoo!: Tennis Player Hewitt to face disciplinary action
Lleyton Hewitt is a disgrace to the sport and to the whole of Australia. I hope they disqualify him for his lifetime. What a low life.
