What is a Link Bank?

LinkBank is the internal name given to a database table within our Content Management System.  It is a repository of authoritative links for a specific topic, phrase or keyword. It is a manually curated list.

However, what the content management system does with this intelligence is pure magic. As the contents are processed, the system detects and inserts these links for a wonderful user experience. This is what drives the popularity of Wikepedia, but as you might know, our website (started 1995) predates Wikipedia (started in year 2001).
