Imagine a prolific photographer as Kamat caught in the picturesque Kashmir without a camera! But that's exactly what happened to Kamat on his honeymoon. No camera.

Upon Kamat's death in 2002, we discovered his diary of 1966, profusely illustrated with sketches of Kashmir in fountain pen! This shows his versatility, resourcefulness, and keen interest life.
