The village of Kasarkod (not to be confused with Kasargod, which is much more to the south) is a beautiful neighborhood across from the Sharavati river from the town of Honavar.

- The Fisheries Harbor or "The Dock" locally known as "Tonke"
- The Vivekananda Arogya Dhama -- A "Nature Cure" center founded by Kusuma Sorab
