Wamanrao Sitaram Mukundam.
Mr. Mukundam was born at Godhra in 1887. His public activities are varied and many sided. He was a member of the Godhra Municipal School Board, the Taluka Local Board, and Chairman, the district School Board. For many years he has been a member of the Bombay Legislative Council. He was the whip of the Swarajya Party.

His Congress work extends over an unrivalled span. He was a member of the A.I.C.C and of the Provincial Congress Committee. During the Civil Disobedience Movement he courted imprisonment thrice. He is on the Advisory Board of the B.B and C.I. Railway.
His character compels admiration. A streak of nobility is seen in his personal contacts. As a leader he is trusted and loved and his reputation has never waned. In politics he belongs to the Tilak School but has faithfully followed Gandhiji's banner.
