Lalman Gupta
Mr. Lalman Gupta was born in 1885. He received is early education at the Government High School, Farukabad. In 1908 he began his political career. For a decade he worked with single-minded devotion for the Arya Samaj. He started the Bharatiya Swarajya Sangh started by Lokamanya Tilak.
His sympathies with the revolutionaries led the Government top note his name in the Manipura Congress held at Calcutta. Thereafter he was elected the Secretary of the District Congress Committee.

Lalman Gupta
He participated in the Non-CoOperation movement. In consequence he was arrested and sentenced to eighteen months rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs.500. for several years he was a member of the Provincial Congress Committee. He also served on the Municipal and Local Boards. In 1930 he actively took part in the C.D movement and was sentenced to six months imprisonment.
His genuine patriotism and unaffected simplicity have endeared him to the masses
