Biography: Fulsinhji Baratsinji Dabhi

Mr. F.B. Dabhi was born at Ghadasar, November 18th 1895. In 1921 he graduated from the Gujarat Vidyapith. He participated in the Civil Disobedience Movement. He was arrested while conducting Salt Satyagraha at Lasundra and sentenced to 6 months imprisonment.

After his release he was deported to his native place under the Foreigners Act. In 1932 he was arrested when he presided over the Anand Taluka Political Conference. Till 1932 he worked as a teacher in the National High School, in Sunov District.

In the last elections he secured the highest number of votes, viz. 65,605. This assets to his amazing popularity. He represents the Kaira District General Rural Constituency in the Assembly.

His correct insight, firm determination and wise leadership have made him a popular figure.
