in 1995) has a panoply of photographs, drawings and articles on every aspect of Indian culture. (Well, except
Bollywood and cricket.) There's an entertaining section on erotic art in the temples of Kajuraho. There are pictures of
the gods on different modes of transport (mainly large birds and tigers - Shiva wisely never took an Indian bus). There's
an article on 'Old-time Wonderbras' and a section called 'Faces of India', which is a collection of photographs of…
erm, Indian faces. Particularly striking is the picture of an old man, face wrinkled and worn by the rigours of life among
the Indian poor, entitled Don't waste film on me. There's a This site is like India itself - disturbing at times, yet full of good humour and beauty. You'll learn more about the country from Kamat's award-winning site than the best guide book.
