The permission had to be endorsed by the Madras office.The order specifies the persons to accompany the Maharaja,how much land to be granted for the construction of the temple.The letter also reveals the objection to the retention of some personal staff of the Queen Mother Lakshmiammanni.The Company held the Prince under survilence is proved by the record containing many details of contemporary events and developments.
