Abstract:Find spot of the hero stone is Kundapur taluka, Dakshina Kannada district.It records the invasion of Portuguese in the region of Paduve konu nadu and was resisted by the people under Hale bali Nayaka in 1542 AD.It also indicates the prominence of women in the social set up in the region.The principality of haduvalli extended up to the find of the hero stone(Trasi).
