| Abstract: | A historical document "Ayagara Nirnaya Grantha" was discovered by Dr Deshpande H.T of Pune. This has 13 Kannada papers mostly dealing with village administration of Chitradurga. The work refers to a manuscript `Chitrasekharana Kathe` in the collection of Jagadguru Moorusavira Matha. The author of the latter must be great grandson of Mallanna refered to in the Grantha.
