Abstract:In India, the main types of embroideries practised by the tribals are the loom embroideries of eastern India, embroideries of the Gujjars, patchwork embroideries of the Banjaras of Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Mysore, and Rajasthan, and embroideries of the Tangkhul Nagas and Todas of the Nilgiris.
