Abstract:This troupe performs a folk version of the epic in the manner of a Rajasthani puppet play. Dancers wear paper masks, their arms and hands covered in cloth to resemble puppets. They act in pantomime and their movements are staccato, without mudras or other signs of classical dance drama.
