Biography: R.K. Karawade

Mr. Chandrojirao was born at Nerle, January 15th 1899. Since 1920 he has actively interested himself in Congress activities. In 1930 he participated in the C.D.Movement and was sentenced to six months rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs. 500. After his release he participated in the Forest Satyagraha. He was again sentenced to three months and a fine of Rs. 100.

Mr. Karawade is a combination of the qualities of a practical worker, an engaging friend and an earnest patriot.
