Biography: Chhotalal Balkrishna Purani
Mr.C.B.Purani was born at Dakore in 1885, he took his M.A.Degree of the Bombay University in 1906. Physical Culture is his favorite hobby. He has organized many institutions throughout Gujarat and founded the "Gujarat Vyayam Pracharak Mandal" .For six years he was a Professor of Biology in D.A.V. College, Lahore. In 1916 he became the Vice Principal of the Baroda Training college for men. In 1918 he resigned that post and started the Broach Education Society. For many years he was the Principle of the New English School. He has prepared Readers in Gujrathi for the Primary Schools.

Chhotalal Balkrishna Purani
He has wide experience of educational work, having served in Training College for men and women, Technical School at Baroda, as Professor in the D.A.V College and Principal of the New English School. When Gujarat was ravaged by floods he rendered valuable services. He was imprisoned twice in the C.D movement. He also organized No-tax campaign in the Broach Sub-Division to the Assembly.
