Then he was taken on the staff of the Praja Pathashala Mandal. He is now the editor of the Dharma-Kosa, a research journal of high excellence. He is an adviser to Gandhiji and Pandit Nalaviya in Hindu Dharma Shastra. He has declared that there is no Vedic sanction for untouchability. Further he is the champion of the temple entry movement. He acted as the priest in the marriage of Devdas and Srimathi Laxmi, which shook the orthodox world.

In 1920 he participated in the Civil Disobedience Movement and was the principal organizer of the Jungle Satyagraha in Maharastra. His political work breathes the fine flavour of Democracy. Like a rocket he flared up in the social horizon.

His intellectual activity is unrivalled. He always bursts into the arena with a conviction so burning so decisive that opposition is stampeded.
