Biography: Dandekar, Vishnu Vaman
Mr. Dandekar was born at Mahim, April 19th 1891. He is a B.A., L.L.B and is practicing as a pleader. He is one of the principle organizers of all social and political activities in the Thana District. Since 1920 he is a devout Congressman.

Vishnu Vaman Dandekar
He was the secretary of myriad institutions like the Palghar Congress Committee, the Thana District Political Conference, the Bar Association and the Harijan Sevak Sangh. He was also the President of the Palghar Congress Committee. During the C.D movement he thrice courted imprisoned. He is elected to the Assembly from the Thana North General Rural Constituency.
Mr.Dandekar is distinguished for his conspicuous power. His political work revels an acumen for which he deserves our high esteem.
