Abstract:The artistic heritage of the Amber-Jaipur region is known from the first quarter of the 17th century. There were regional painting schools, and the Jaipur kings -- Mirza Raja Jai Singh (1621-67), Raja Ram Singh I, Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh (1699-1743) and his successors -- played a significant role in their development.
