Update on Aravind Shanbhag

It has been amazing for me to watch the reach of social networks and person-to-person activism on the web. After my mother wrote about the young scholar Aravind Shanbhag and Satyameva-Jayate carried it, a number of people have come forward to help. I have read it elsewhere, but I have never experienced this type of community support on a story we published. But I am not the right person to comment or help. My life experience has been greatly damaged by the hardships my father had to endure in India after his return from USA after a PhD in 1965, and my bitterness might be pardoned.
