Uncle Pai is No More

Ananth Pai, Father of "Amar Chitra Katha" is No More (via private message) Uncle Ananth Pai passed away today. Biography at Wikipedia I wonder what the Indian children read before Uncle Pai started Amar Chitra Katha series of illustrated comics/stories. Even today when I think of Abhimanyu or Banda Singh Bahadur, those heroes illustrations is what I think of. Update 2/28/2011: Amma has a Tribute to Uncle Pai (Comments Disabled for Now. Sorry!)
