ON THE OCCASION OF HIS 89TH BIRTHDAY

If alive, Swarabhaskar Pandit Bhimsen Joshi would have celebrated his 89th birthday on this day. We, the admirers of his eternal music, have decided to pay a musical homage to Bhimanna by presenting a concert of his most promising grand-disciple, Jayateerth Mevundi. Jayateerth has received training by Pt. Shripati Padigar (who is Bhimanna's disciple) and Pt. Arjunsa Nakod. Please do come and join us. The admission is free, on a first-come-first basis.
