Link Suggestions | | A Movie Plot I have a movie plot roughly based on the fantastic life of two Uyghur (Chinese Muslims) youth. They were unemployed and went to seek jobs to Pakistan, where they were recruited into a private army. At that time they didn't know about al-queda, but later received training in guerrilla warfare. After the Americans came to Pakistan (post-911), a bounty-hunter convinced the Americans that these youngsters were "high interest operatives" and got prize money leading to their arrest. So the youth were captured by the Americans and sent to Guantanamo Bay prison camp. Optional torture script follows. Optional introduction of lady interpreter, who falls in love with one or both of them. Turns out these two Uyghurs were not terrorists, had nothing to do with 911 or other Al-queda agenda. They sue the US Government and settle out of court for millions of dollars and retire in Bahamas with the cute interpreter, playing beach volleyball and eating ice-cream. Unbelievable, right? This is a true story (link to NPR).
