IRS: No Economic Stimulus for You!

The day before Christmas, I called the Internal Revenue Service (the tax people of USA) to complain that I never received President Bush's Economic Stimulus Check. I was going to spend it to boost the economy, but they said that I should have called earlier. In a twisted logic they said that it would take three weeks to mail the check, and since they cannot mail it before the year ended, they would not send it at all! They said instead, I can claim the stimulus as a rebate on line 70 during the next year's tax returns. I have learned not to argue with the IRS, so I said OK. Then today, I got a statement from IRS that the Economic Stimulus Rebate in incurring interest and has already grown by 2.5% I say to the IRS. THANK YOU! That beats all my investment returns I have gotten for the year. Please keep it. Is there anyway I can contribute a *reverse economic stimulus rebate* ? (Comments Disabled for Now. Sorry!)
