My sympathies this week are with the victims of the horrendous earthquake in China, and survivors of the cyclone in Myanmar. Two brutal regimes, but both great disasters call for our compassion, help, and prayers. I want to Meet a Terrorist President Bush (while in Israel) started a stirring debate that is long overdue. He opines that people with minds shouldn't deal with the bad guys. As a believer in the power of non-violence, I disagree. If I call or consider someone a terrorist, I must be receptive to the idea that he might consider me a terrorist. No? I really would like to meet someone who hates USA; someone from Al Queda. I promise to try to convince them the unjust cause they are fighting. I Want to Meet Wright and Williams I'd do the same if I were to meet Pastor Jeremiah Wright or Richard Williams. I'm sure that these gentlemen have a perspective that I don't get. We can't solve a problem that we don't understand. I'm one of those who fully support Jimmy Carter Meeting Hamas.
