There are a lot of people who believe that only prosperous people can practice and patronize art and culture. My own observations have proved otherwise. In India, it is the poorest and the most ignorant population that has preserved India's complex culture. Even with that statement, you will find this story about how murderers, rapists, and other criminals have preserved a distinct Cajun culture in Louisiana, very fascinating.
