Misuse of Email Address

Scripting.com : Dave Winer takes NPR to task for misuse of his email address. He submitted a story, and in support of it, he provided his email address. His story was neither accepted nor rejected; instead he was approached for a donation. This is a delicate matter, but Winer is right on, and has indicated why the solicitation is wrong. I get a lot of email on this website and I am proud to say that I have never abused a single address; not for solicitation, not for peddling merchandise, not even to create buzz.
