Kite Festival

The spectacular kite festival of Ahmedabad during Makar Sankanti in mid January is a time when azure skies are dappled with bright kites as the entire population of the city is on roof tops flying kites. Besides kite flying, Gujarati cuisine, handicrafts, and folk arts are also on display.
